Digital camera's are great...completely...in my mind one of the greatest inventions ever. Having said that...can someone please explain to me why they can't fix the memory card so it only uploads new pictures? I mean seriously, at the memory I have no idea where the upload cord (not sure the real name) so I have to upload from the memory card and every time I do this it pulls the over 1500 pictures we have on it. No luckily this time I was smart enough to figure how to copy the picture and save it without doing the full upload, however, I was not smart enough to push the back button to go the end instead of shuffling through the whole 1500 pictures. Oh well...live and learn right. Either way...here is a picture of the box from our anniversary as well as a peek inside which shows a few projects I'm getting ready to post and/or finish up.
The rest of my weekend was wonderful. After getting my hair done which took a lot less time than usual and although I didn't like the "style" when I left, I do like the cut. I hate puffy hair and a lot of stylist love to put me puffy...I don't know....anyways....after I ran over to our local Hobby Lobby where I found some super fun yarns and I had to get which I thought would make some really fun skinny scarves/belt...and of course in my excitement of these I have already finished 2 of the 3 and am almost done with the third.

Anyways....on Sunday we took ourselves off to church where we renewed our vows in front of the whole congregation..which for me was nerve wracking. We promised that we would renew them every 5 years to always keep them fresh in our lives, of course our plan was to be in Hawaii but whatever. So..our Pastor married us for the 3rd time (great story if anyone is interested) in front of all of our new friends. The remainder of the service was great..a complete worship service...we had a Christian dance ministry come in and perform as well as 4 baptisms. I was an all around wonderful day.

A Saturday morning all to myself..or at least most of it. While I rarely need a day to myself, when I do, I ended up having such a hard time enjoying it because I just want to come home to my family. I guess that's many a mom's problem. Today, I am getting my hair done...something I love to have done but hate getting done. It's been a long time so a lot is going to come off. Looking forward to low maintenance hair once again. And bringing my latest project...the box...will help time go by quicker and possibly give me a chance to share about etsy.

I am very excited I received my second nonfamily sale yesterday. I have reached my goal of selling 10 items...I guess I need to come up with a new goal. Maybe selling 1 item a month to start.

Our anniversary night was nice. Got off to a late start but it was nice. I did actually get the chair mostly done. It just needs an extra coat of stain and a top coat. Scott loved it and was excited to have it done (well almost). Neither of us can figure why he loves this chair so much...it is a beautiful chair, but there is no real sentiment behind it.

His gift to me was a beautiful box to keep my yarn and current projects in. This will keep Erica and our pets from getting at them. This was great considering they recently ruined a project due and since I was spending hours a week fighting for, untangling and/or rewinding yarn.
I also have decided to take on soap making yesterdat. Something I've been interested in, but never dived into. They turned out super cute. I made just basic green turtles and frogs. These I have decided will be the free gift with my bath items.

So here we are...in a million years I NEVER would have thought that I would actually start a blog. Who would want to follow me and our life. I guess we shall see. As for today...it is our 5th anniversary and I have got a busy day. After wracking my brain on what I could get/do for Scott that has to do with wood, it finally came to me...I can finish refinishing his favorite chair. So...that is my project today...pretty amibitious I would say. I'm also on the hunt for some great patterns to start a fasion line in the store. I have has a black mesh scarf done that still needs another skein added to it and the flowers...some bright posies. I think it will a fun piece. For now, I'm working on a small basket, which I've been planning on doing for months now and of course I need to finish the 4th picnic placemat so I can post those.
